Job Description
Phoenix Residential Society, Phoenix Intensive Program Services (PIPS) is looking for a Social Worker/OT ICM to be part of a team providing services to mental health clients with problematic substance use in a community based setting. Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of applying harm reduction, trauma informed and person centered philosophies into practice through a culturally sensitive lens. The
Phoenix Residential Society, Phoenix Intensive Program Services (PIPS) is looking for a Social Worker/OT ICM to be part of a team providing services to mental health clients with problematic substance use in a community based setting. Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of applying harm reduction, trauma informed and person centered philosophies into practice through a culturally sensitive lens. The Social Worker/OT ICM is responsible for providing front-line recovery-orientated services that will assist residents in planning & implementing their individualized wellness plans, & maintaining their housing. Responsibilities include providing case management duties such as assisting residents with money management, independent living skills, & liaising with other community supports. The Social Worker ICM must work effectively as a team member & model a pro-active approach, flexibility, tolerance, perseverance & competence in counselling, assessment, & crisis management situations. Must possess a valid drivers license & have access to a vehicle for work purposes including the transportation of residents. Applicants must provide your current registration &/or be eligible for professional registration. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
