Position Description
Reporting to the maintenance manager, the Labourer is responsible for performing various tasks around the Power Plant.

The tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
-    Washing of equipment, primarily Air-Cooled Condenser
-    General cleaning and lubrication of equipment
-    Lawn maintenance
-    Painting
-    Transportation of materials and tools around the facility
-    Assist in plant repairs and maintenance
Work site environment:
-    Outdoors and indoors
-    Exposure to noise and

-    Repetitive tasks
-    Fast-paced
    Combination of walking, standing and sitting
    Requires ladders and stairs climbing
Required experience:
    1-2 years of experience of working in an industrial type setting
Required education/certifications:
-    Grade 12
-    Valid drivers license
-    Fork lift certification is an asset
Required skills:
-    Able to follow instructions
-    Attention to details
-    Ability to work independently
-    Mechanically skilled
-    Ability to work with others, team work attitude
-    Good hand-eye coordination
-    Ability to operate a lawn-mower and forklift
-    Varied hours of work, some evening and night shifts maybe required
-    Strong communication skills in English
